On Sunday a number of club members manned a stall selling photos, books and equipment at the Kelso Christmas market. As a bonus we were also able to pass details about the club to a few prospective new members.

1st Place was “Snow Blasted Trees” by Ross, 2nd “Grimsel Pass, Switzerland” also by Ross and 3rd “An afternoons walk by the river” by Vinnie
For the second round of the Four Part Challenge competition the subject is “Monochrome”. If you are wondering what is the difference between Monochrome and Black & White, and what is permitted in this competition, this is the place to find out.

This short course will be on Monday 23 October at 7:30pm, on zoom, and will last approximately 2 hours. Please let Dave know if you would like to attend.
The camera club competition rules have been updated to include the amendments discussed and agreed at the meeting last week.
The club has arranged two Street Photography workshop/tutorial sessions on Saturday 2nd March 2024, timed to fit in with our Street Photography Theme.
Volunteers needed! On each members evening a small number of club members will present a few of their images. This could be anywhere between five and 20 images and should take between 10 and 30 minutes to present.
