Bill Hume, KCC Competitions Secretary, tells us:
[su_quote]”This year’s Borders Digital Challenge has been cancelled. A combination of clashing priorities and the impacts of the recent floods have meant only a handful of the expected clubs were able to get entries in on time.
“However we at Kelso Camera Club were ready in time with our images selected and submitted.
“It seems a shame not to celebrate the quality that the club is capable of achieving so here are the 12 images the Panel chose to represent the club in the competition. We aren’t able of course to show you the comments of the competition judge but the selection panel have given their reasons for selecting the images they did.
“The first eight images were definitely in the mix; the next two were in case only a small number of clubs entered; the final two were for use in tiebreakers.”[/su_quote]
