The Movement Theme runs from 31st March to 28th April 2016
Theme Definition
When taking a photograph of a moving object, the photographer has the flexibility to choose between several relevant techniques in order to pass the feeling of motion to the viewer. This theme hopes you will explore the most relevant techniques: Panning, Smearing & Freezing, all terms that will be explained in sessions during the course of the theme. You’ll need to make sure your subject is broadly recognisable, but apart from that there are few restrictions. If you want a real challenge think how to capture slow movement in a picture.
