The Three Way Inter Club Competition with Earlston and Galashiels is being organised by Earlston Camera Club and held at the Earlston Bowling Club on Thursday 1 February 2024. This means that the normal club meeting will be at Earlston on that evening. This is an interclub competition so the standard will be higher than the normal club competitions, it is an excellent way to see some great images and hear feedback from a knowledgeable judge (Rudolf Hummel).
The rules for the competition and details of the image requirements are on the website. The competition is a longstanding event in the club calendar, (although sometimes the participants vary). Images are entered by club members (via Zoe) for consideration by the KCC selection committee which decides what will be entered into the competition.
Please have a look through your images and send Zoe any that you would like to be considered for inclusion, especially images that you maybe put in the Exhibition or that have done well in our club competitions. You can send as many as you like. The competition rules state that images taken after 31 August 2018 are eligible for the 3 Way, but KCC have decided that we would prefer to use newer images so please only send images taken after 1ST OF SEPTEMBER 2019.
Images must not have been previously submitted to an inter club competition. Don’t worry about resizing as we will resize the 15 that are chosen. Images can be black and white or colour.
