Kelso Camera Club’s Annual Exhibition will be open this year from 28th May to 4th June. As ever we’ll be showing off our work in Kelso Town Hall and we’d be delighted if you could come along and meet us and view our pictures. We’re open 10-4 every day with late opening on the Thursday.
The idea is that each of the 40-odd members of the club each get the chance to display up to 5 of their pictures in an exhibition format, with all the pictures nicely printed and mounted. This way we can show off our artistic and photographic skills to the world at large and maybe encourage one or two more folk to join us on Thursday evenings at Abbey Row, Kelso.
Not to mention the Exhibition as a fund raising opportunity – this year’s charity is “Riding for the Disabled” and all donations will be gladly accepted.
When you visit the exhibition, we’ll be giving you some homework to do as you walk round the pictures: we want to know which are your favourite 3 pictures. Just fill in the little form we’ll give you and the photographer who gets most votes wins the cup. Its the only time we ask people outside the club to express their opinions of our work so we find this both nerve wracking and exciting in about even measure. But it does add a little spice to the proceedings!
Keep up to speed on announcements about the Exhibition on the Kelso Camera Club event on Facebook.
